Market Risk Specialist

Energy Trading Market Risk Analyst – Zurich, Switzerland

Market Risk Analyst required to join International Energy Trading company with hybrid working conditions for full time employment.

Core responsibilities to include enhancing the risk analytics and market intelligence framework, collaborating with various departments to ensure effective risk assessment and reporting. Also to contribute to the teams excellence in risk management.

Requirements:

  • Experience in financial Risk Management / Market Risk
  • Experience in Energy markets
  • Reporting tools – such as Python, PowerBI
  • SQL

Regulatory Reporting Specialist – EMIR Refit

Or well established financial client is looking for a Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst who has good knowledge of financial regulations to join their Zurich team in a permanent role.

Your Role:

We are looking for someone, who will support our clients team in various regulatory topics, such as the implementation of the EMIR Refit requirements as well as optimization of the current setup.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Analyse, specify, implement and test regulatory requirements
  • Analyse regulatory text and define business requirements
  • Specify the solution to be developed in a business specification document or JIRA ticket
  • Organise workshops and meetings with required stakeholders including Front Office and IT
  • Conduct system and user acceptance testing and communicate the results with the relevant stakeholders
  • Analyse complex business processes and identify optimisation potential within existing setup

Your profile:

  • Experience with financial market regulations infrastructure regulations (EMIR, MiFIR, FMIA, SFTR)
  • Good understanding of capital market products (ETD and OTC Derivatives)
  • Good understanding of front to back processes concerning trade booking
  • Good knowledge of Avaloq, knowledge of Prime/Front-Arena are an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong understanding of technical processes
  • Team player with support experience, striving for exceptional performance and a can-do attitude
  • Ability to work independently to push projects forward and meet deadlines

OneSumX – Finance System Expert

OneSumX – Finance System Expert -Germany

Full time permanent employment

An international banking company is looking to strengthen its Finance team with an experienced OneSumX System Consultant to join as the application owner for Finance and Functional responsibilities. You will be the functional system expert for OneSumX (which functions as Securities / Trading Ledger with full Event Based Accounting and financial data repository). This positions will cover both “business as usual” and project based work with an aim for further business expansion, automation and efficiency improvements.

Duties

  • You will be the OneSumX Finance Functional expert & system owner. Act as financial architect, system (functional) expert, configuration & settings gatekeeper, liaison between Finance and IT
  • Liaise and operate as the link between the IT application developer(s) and Finance
  • Able to independently analyse business issues and to define specifications for IT development
  • Initiative in improving and automating workflows and processes further
  • Analyze existing finance infrastructure / workflows and drive integration process

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years total relevant working experience (Financial Services and/or Software or related)
  • Minimum 1 year experience with the Wolters Kluwer OneSumX Finance platform / OSX
  • Basic understanding of Accounting mechanics and IFRS
  • Strong finance & accounting, SQL and/or securities ledger application development know how
  • Familiar with project management, development and testing of financial applications
  • Team player, hands-on, result oriented, adaptable and motivated to work in a challenging and international financial industry and IT working environment

Equity Derivatives Trader

Experienced Equity Derivatives Trader to join an expanding team covering APAC with previous exposure to either HK or JP markets. This can be based in either Hong Kong or Singapore.

It is important to have current experience with managing both the book and the risk (not someone who only does automation).

You should ideally have some experience working on a Single stocks structured products desk and trade products such as autocallables (Fixed Coupon Note), accumulator/Decumulators , Bonus Certificate etc.

Experience working on Index structured products desk trade products such as autocallables would also be considered.
