Energy Trading Market Risk Analyst – Zurich, Switzerland
Market Risk Analyst required to join International Energy Trading company with hybrid working conditions for full time employment.
Core responsibilities to include enhancing the risk analytics and market intelligence framework, collaborating with various departments to ensure effective risk assessment and reporting. Also to contribute to the teams excellence in risk management.
Requirements:
Experience in financial Risk Management / Market Risk
Experience in Energy markets
Reporting tools – such as Python, PowerBI
SQL
Any experience with Dataiku, Power Apps and Power Automate would be a plus.
Avaloq Developer required to strengthen the in-house development and shape the future of the Core Banking infrastructure. You will be a key contributor to the design and optimization of Avaloq payment workflows and interfaces and provide expert guidance on payment integration, system customization, and best practices across the full transaction lifecycle.
Your responsibilities
Own and develop software solutions in Avaloq and surrounding applications
Improve and maintain existing tailored solutions in Avaloq
Assist and consult our business owners in the definition of functional requirements
Act as technical project lead in your area of responsibility; govern testing campaigns and activities for solutions developed in your domain
Coordinate your work with developers in related areas as well as internal and external stakeholders
Your profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related discipline
Strong software development knowledge, especially in Avaloq

Senior Quantitative Analyst:
Responsabilities:
Liaise with Trading, Risk and IT to ensure correct implementation and monitoring of the full deal life cycle from pricing to nominations
Applying risk-based pricing and hedging strategies to structured deals
Develop quantitative infrastructure and expertise, wherever necessary, to extend the desk’s capability of ad-hoc pricing and trading non-standard complex products
Work with other departments (Trading, Market Risk, IT, Analysis), providing them with appropriate quantitative support and know-how
Apply quantitative skills to build sustainable models for the organization
Close collaboration and know-how exchange with Market Risk to achieve a high standard of quantitative modelling
What you bring & who you are:
Proven experience in a similar position as a quantitative analyst
Strong / Expert in programming languages and quantitative applications such as C#/F#/.net (C++)
Experience in commodity markets and European energy is highly appreciated
Ability to translate complex mathematical problems into practical business executables
