Your Role:
We seek an experienced Business Analyst/Project manager for our Hedge Fund business. The successful candidate will work closely with all different business stakeholders on workflow automation solutions concerning compliance, risk, portfolio management, operations, and trading.
The candidate should demonstrate strong technical skills and financial product knowledge. They must have experience working alongside a global team to deliver solutions that adhere to firm wide standards. They will oversee the implementation and configuration to provide the solution to the end business user. The role is one that requires full understanding of the in house and third-party systems and dependencies. It is also required to be able to design and create the reporting and controls that need to be in place to maintain the solutions.
Job Description:
Work closely with Compliance team to produce regulatory reporting for the firm to be compliant with regulators requirements.
Elicit requirements using a variety of techniques to build the specification.
Critically evaluate information from multiple sources, reconciling conflicts and providing options to the business sponsor.
Act as conduit between the business sponsor and the software development team/third party vendor.
Proactive communication with business units around progress and delivery timeframes.
Design and document the controls required to maintain solutions.
Plan and design the implementation phase of any project while considering go live and ongoing support process.
Oversee and/or implement the deployment of solutions into the live environment. It is possible that the final solution could be fully controlled by the change team.

Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business or IT related field and relevant work experience.
Comprehensive understanding of financial instruments including but not limited to: CDS, IRS, fixed income, equities, equity derivatives, ETD, Commodity and FX.
Ability to write complex SQL.
Understand both Oracle and SQL Server.
Ability to work with XSLT with respect to configuring XML files to maintain mappings for incoming and outgoing feeds.
Experience in the coordination, managing and planning the release of application changes into live trading environments.

Our financial client is looking for a Developer to work on the development and enhancement of their Quant Platform. C++ and Java skills are most important, with Python and Matlab a big plus.

· Ensure daily production of the Quant platform and the rapid resolution of problems;

· Develop user-specific requirements with a blend of Quant platform specific language, C++, Java, Python, Matlab.

What you bring & who you are
You have a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, as well as CIMA and/or ACCA certification
You possess strong knowledge of accounting, controlling, budgeting, treasury, IFRS and UK reporting requirements
Prior understanding and experience in commodities is considered an advantage
You have a knowledge of MS Office programs, in particular MS Excel and Power Point
