OUR REQUIREMENTS
Professional experience in Python programming one additional language is a plus
Experience with data analysis and Web applications
Strong foundations in programming paradigms like Object Oriented- or Functional- programming.
You know how to deliver working solutions in a short time-frame
You are solution-driven, highly detail orientated and keen to explore the world of investment banking and derivative financial products
Good spoken and written English. Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus
Good knowledge of financial products or a strong interest in learning about them
We are seeking an IT Business Analyst to work for a financial client in Singapore. Candidates should have good knowledge of Derivative products and good SQL skills. The role will be working mainly Front Office but will cover some Middle and Back Office.
YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Gather business requirements and translate into IT solutions
Write technical specifications for IT development
Unit, functional & non-regression test strategy definition and execution
Coordination with release and quality assurance teams, including specs for test automation
Participate in solution design / architecture
Assist in project steering and coordination
User training and support
Support in documentation writing (functional aspects)
Contribute to BA team (trainings, knowledge sharing)
OUR REQUIREMENTS
Master’s degree: engineering, finance, economics, or IT domains preferred.
Basic knowledge of financial products
Strong analytical and logical mind-set
Fluid and clear communication
Keen interest in new technologies
Writing skills i.e. ability to describe complex problems in a simple manner
