Our well established Hedge Fund client is seeking and experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager to join their London based team in a permanent role:
This role is circa £75 – 80k base salary and will be based onsite in central London 4 days a week with 1 home office.
Your Role:
We seek an experienced Business Analyst for our Hedge Fund business. The successful candidate will work closely with all different business stakeholders on workflow automation solutions concerning compliance, risk, portfolio management, operations, and trading.
The candidate should demonstrate strong technical skills and financial product knowledge. They must have experience working alongside a global team to deliver solutions that adhere to firm wide standards. They will oversee the implementation and configuration to provide the solution to the end business user. The role is one that requires full understanding of the in house and third-party systems and dependencies. It is also required to be able to design and create the reporting and controls that need to be in place to maintain the solutions.
Job Description:
Work closely with Compliance team to produce regulatory reporting for the firm to be compliant with regulators requirements.
Elicit requirements using a variety of techniques to build the specification.
Critically evaluate information from multiple sources, reconciling conflicts and providing options to the business sponsor.
Act as conduit between the business sponsor and the software development team/third party vendor.
Proactive communication with business units around progress and delivery timeframes.
Design and document the controls required to maintain solutions.
Plan and design the implementation phase of any project while considering go live and ongoing support process.
Oversee and/or implement the deployment of solutions into the live environment. It is possible that the final solution could be fully controlled by the change team.
Provide user documentation for any applications and processes implemented.
Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business or IT related field and relevant work experience.
Comprehensive understanding of financial instruments including but not limited to: CDS, IRS, fixed income, equities, equity derivatives, ETD, Commodity and FX.
2. Stakeholder Management – will need to manage the stakeholders, manage timeliness, agree on the key deliveries.
3. 8-10 years of experience.
4. Understanding of Commodities and Market Data – Preferred
5. Strong communication skills, to stakeholders and peers.

Our financial client is looking for a Developer to work on the development and enhancement of their Quant Platform. C++ and Java skills are most important, with Python and Matlab a big plus.
Responsibilities
· Ensure daily production of the Quant platform and the rapid resolution of problems;
· Define the best approach to deliver against business requirements and provide guidance to the Quant platform users on how to best implement their needs on the platform;
· Develop user-specific requirements with a blend of Quant platform specific language, C++, Java, Python, Matlab.
Skills required:
· In-depth knowledge of the financial services and Asset Management sector including an understanding of all asset classes, how they are set up and how they behave;
· Proficiency in quantitative programming Java and C++
· Solid Matlab or Python knowledge will be a plus

Our growing financial technology client is looking for a talented Senior Front-End Engineer to join their small New York based team in a permanent role.
Their focus is towards UI / UX based on an Angular framework. Someone who has built customer facing Front-Ends before, or that they know how to go about it from start to finish and help lead the development. An interest in finance or an understanding of this area will be needed.
What You’ll Do
You’ll join our clients small Product Team as a Senior Front-End Engineer (HTML/JavaScript). This role will expose you to our rapidly evolving product suite, with consistent opportunity to make a direct impact on the business.
Our client is a small firm, so they need their engineers to take ownership of their projects. You’ll do more than merely “code to a wireframe.” From the start, you’ll be helping bring products from concept to production while solving distinct design, UI and UX challenges.
Some responsibilities will include:
Become an expert in our front-end stack (JavaScript, Angular, HTML5…)
Learn about our backend stack, coded in Scala, MySQL and AWS technologies.
Collaborate across the entire organization, including backend engineers, data operations team, client services and product managers.
Develop expertise in a broad array of financial topics.
Critical Skills / Abilities
Our ideal candidate has at least 5 years professional experience building applications in HTML5 and JavaScript and experience with:
Web frameworks such as Angular or React
Web application layout and design using a CSS preprocessor (Sass, Stylus), and a templating language (Pug, Mustache)
Continuous Delivery, including integration testing with tools such as Cypress or Selenium
Additional skills that we would love to see but are not required:
Familiarity Node.js and/or Puppeteer
Personal interest in capital markets, finance and investing (even if you’ve never traded stock).
